With its amazing views, Gragnano is located at the foot of the Lattari Mountains. The small town has very ancient origins, supported by a number of findings from the archaic period.

It is famous in Europe for its Pasta. In fact, it is the major Italian pasta maker and exporter, especially for maccheroni pasta. Since 2013, the special characteristics of its pasta production have been recognized with the European Protected Geographical Indication "Pasta di Gragnano".
